Admissions Application

ADmissions

We are now accepting new students for the 2024/2025 School Year!

We are so glad you are interested in The Dreamers’ School. The admissions process provides the opportunity for parents to gain a fuller picture of our program and for the staff to evaluate the needs of the student. The process is outlined below.

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

The Dreamers' School is happy to meet with families to assess whether we are able to meet the needs of any child with special needs. The Dreamers' School is committed to meeting each child’s social, emotional and intellectual needs, but there may be times when our scope of remedial and support services is not adequate to meet the needs of a child while balancing the needs of the class. As a private, enrichment program, we do not have the resources or a mandate to provide an appropriate education for all children. The Dreamers' School reserves the right to deny acceptance or continued enrollment in the school if the staff does not believe we can adequately meet a child’s needs.

LEARNING ABOUT WALDORF EDUCATION

The Dreamers' School works hard to uphold Waldorf ideals and education. There is the expectation that parents at Dreamers' will choose to educate themselves so they have a basic (or perhaps a deep) understanding of the main tenets of Waldorf education. For your child to achieve the most benefit from his/her experience at Dreamers', it is important that parents be in agreement with and supportive of our philosophy and the work teachers are doing in school.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Our admissions process consists of 5 steps.

  1. Register your child by filling out our registration form below. Once you submit the application, you will be automatically added to a waitlist until the admission process is complete.

  2. Attend the family interview. Please sign up for a family interview/tour of our school. (Family Interview/Tour Sign Up) At least one parent and the student(s) must attend. We encourage both parents to attend when possible. This interview is an opportunity for parents and the staff to exchange pertinent information. The program and Waldorf pedagogy are discussed to help the family determine if the program is right for both family and child.

  3. Once your tour is complete and your application is accepted, you will receive an invitation to download our student management app via text and email.

  4. After you have set up your profile within our app, you will receive an invoice to pay the non-refundable registration fee ($65 per student) or ($90 per family) and the non-refundable semester supply fee ($115 for Wednesday classes), ($125 for Friday classes, Dreamers/Gandhi/Goodall/Galileo/Douglas programs), ($150 for Friday, Socrates/Johnson programs) via the Pro Care app. Receipt of these fees guarantees that we hold the spot(s) for your child(ren)*.

  5. Pay the 1st month’s tuition ($215 For Wednesday Full Day) ($225 for Friday Full Day, Dreamers/Gandhi/Goodall/Galileo/Douglas programs), ($230 Friday Full Day, Socrates program), ($250 Friday Full Day, Johnson program) upon the upcoming due date. The first month’s tuition for 2024/2025 school year is due by August 1, 2024. If payment is not received by this date, the registration AND non-refundable supply fee is forfeited and the student’s spot is released to the next student on the waiting list.
